Eric Shuster is the fifth of six children born to George and Patricia Shuster. He is a graduate of Saint Lawrence Catholic College Preparatory School, holds an industrial engineering management degree from San Jose State University, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Mr. Shuster is a veteran of the information technology industry, and is today the President and CEO of IntelliClear Inc., a Colorado-based market research firm. Mr. Shuster is an ardent student of the scriptures and prolific theological writer, whose passion for Christianity and humanitarian service led him to starting the Foundation for Christian Studies (FCS) in 2008. The FCS (www.studychristianity.org) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the study, teaching, and practice of Christianity in a way that inspires all people, regardless of theological differences, to come together in support of essential Christian values and compassionate service to God’s children across the globe. Mr. Shuster and his wife Marilyn of over 22 years have three children and reside in Colorado where he enjoys writing, community service, and hiking. Mr. Shuster is also a musician and former recording artist. Eric Shuster’s first book, Catholic Roots, Mormon Harvest (Cedar Fort, Inc.) was published in 2009 generating stirring reviews and being heralded as the most comprehensive side-by-side comparison of Catholic and Mormon doctrine to date. Mr. Shuster’s newest release in 2010, The Biblical Roots of Mormonism, was published in 2010 (coauthored by Charles Sale) with equally rousing reviews as the most comprehensive biblical review of Mormon doctrine to date.

A Letter to Readers
May 27, 2010

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website and your interest in one or more of my books. I’d like to give a special thanks to those around the world who have contacted me by postal mail, email, and other means to share with me their experiences in reading. Your testimonies are an inspiration to me and my family and strengthen us in Christ. I invite you to visit my website often for updates, become my friend on Facebook, follow me on Twitter, and check out my channel on YouTube. We are trying to have something for everyone and welcome your suggestions and comments.

It has been over a year since the release of my first book with my newest work hitting the book stores next month – The Biblical Roots of Mormonism. In this latest book I join forces with my friend and writing colleague Chuck Sale, the editor of my first book Catholic Roots, Mormon Harvest. The journey from thinking about writing, to writing, to becoming a writer has been wonderful and revealing to me in a multitude of ways. Sometimes I feel as if the Lord puts a pipe in my head and I simply type away while He provides the inspiration and ideas. The Holy Ghost burns hot within my soul when the Lord prompts me to write. It is a wonderful feeling and experience and I am grateful for it. It is my prayer that the books I write will inspire people everywhere to seek a closer relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ, to learn about the everlasting gospel, and open up a dialogue with people of all faiths around the globe in search of spiritual truth and understanding.

My first book, Catholic Roots, Mormon Harvest, gave readers a glimpse into my background and the journey that led me to becoming a Latter-day Saint. My newest book, The Biblical Roots of Mormonism deeply explores the Biblical foundations of Mormonism and is a testimony builder for the disciples of Jesus Christ everywhere. At the same time Biblical Roots will also be a thorn in the side for those who fight against Mormonism and deny Latter-day Saints the Christian marker. I look forward to hearing from you and pray the Lord will bless you in your ongoing journey with love in the Savior and joy in the gospel.

Sincerely and always,

Eric Shuster

A Letter to Readers
December 11, 2009

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website and your interest in one or more of my books. I have written the most of my life in hopes that someday I might inspire many in their life's journey towards a higher purpose in God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ. My own journey in mortality has allowed me to partake of a wide variety of experiences in religion, family, service, sports, music, education, business and many other things that have helped shaped me into the person I am today. How fortunate I've been to have had these experiences; to be strengthened by the effects of adversity; to have survived the consequences of occasional lapses in judgment; to know and feel of God's love and forgiveness; and to be blessed with the abilities I have today and opportunities to serve. Such phenomenal blessings are humbling and truly unexplainable and undeserving to me; however, I am committed to strive to live the principle that where much is given much is required.

My career as a published author has just begun and I promise to provide the world a series of books that will challenge, inspire, and touch the hearts and minds of readers everywhere. Catholic Roots, Mormon Harvest gave readers a glimpse into my background and the journey that led me to becoming a Latter-day Saint. My next book, scheduled for release in the summer of 2010, will deeply explore the Biblical foundations of Mormonism and is sure to be a testimony builder for believers everywhere, while being a thorn in the side for many others. I invite you to visit my website often for updates, become my friend on Facebook, follow me on Twitter, and check out my channel on YouTube. We are trying to have something for everyone and welcome your suggestions and comments. May the Lord bless you in your ongoing journey with love in the Savior and joy in the gospel.

Sincerely and always,

Eric Shuster
